caydance okay, so i'd be a complete and total lying motherfucker if i said that teagan was never a part of my life. trust me, he was a huge part of it. it was back in high school that we met, and truth be told, i have gym class to thank for that. that's right, PE actually did something good for me. anyway, gym was a mandatory class and we all know that i pretty much equal failure in that class. needless to say, the gym instructor wanted to beat me over the head with a dodgeball. it wasn't really uncommon to hear that i always had detention 'cos i sucked so bad or just straight up refused to play the game. but this one day, while i was putting all of the basketballs back on the rack, someone else entered the room. it was this guy, just about my age and just about as unathletic-looking as i was. apparently, he had detention as well. he was complete shy, which i found kinda adorable. being me, i had to strike up conversation. we spend the whole time putting back equipment and plotting to burn down the fucking school, with mr. lowe making us do a lap around the track every time we were busted talking. the name "teagan blaise smiths" stuck in my head from that day on. it was almost like we were instant best friends. we completed each other, y'know? i gave him so many piggyback rides that my back ached, but i'd never complain. we'd be the boys who'd take drives to hershey's park, just to gorge ourselves in chocolate and skip around, holding hands to scare the families. he was my favorite cuddlebuddy evurrrr. seriously. he's so snuggly and warm.. ahem. my life was completed with our childish antics for a total of two years. i mean, i had the perfect best friend. i'm not gonna lie; i had a thing for teagan. JUST LOOK AT HIM. he was attractive, he had a great personality, i can go on for hours. but then, my "teenage hormones" - as some like to say - got the best of me. i flirted with everyone in sight and i attracted a lot of attention. it's not my fault that i'm such a good-looking guy.. so, i had a few makeout buddies and fuck buddies. is that so wrong? somewhere in that time, i guess things took a turn for worse. hell, i'm still not even sure about what went on that one night. there was this hot guy and we were making out on the couch when suddenly, the door slammed and scared the shit out of us. i got up to check and see if anyone was there ( equipped with a baseball bat, of course ), but all i found was some flowers lying on the floor. i went to find teagan the next day and tell him about the weird ass experience, but every time i approached him, he had something to do or he couldn't talk at the moment. i was cool with it at first, but it became consistent. he wouldn't answer the phone, and if he would, there was someone on the other line or it was a really important call that he had to take. i tried calling everyday, but i got tired of trying to get his attention. on top of that, that hot guy? well, he became my boyfriend. i spent more and more time with my boyfriend, and the phone calls i'd make to teagan became less and less. eventually, i just stopped trying and we lost contact. it kills me a little every day. my conscience slowly eats away at me. surprised that i have a conscience? finding out that he was on the show? i swear to fucking god, i almost sent myself into convulsions once looked at the names of the others and saw it in clear writing: teagan blaise smiths. honestly, how many teagan blaise smiths exist in this effing world? honestly, i don't think i'd be able to cope with seeing his face every damn day. the awkward air is unbearable and it just might drive me insane. i mean, this is the guy i used to like. fuck, man, i still do. but i have my boyfriend now, so hopefully, he'll take my mind off of things. who the hell am i kidding?

teagan caydance. he was my best friend, practically my everything, and...well, he was the only person i've ever felt completely comfortable with. we were seventeen. we met at school or something, made friends straight away. it was undeniable that he was attractive, but i never actually thought about it back then. i was eighteen when everything started to change between him and i - or no, things started to change for me. i got butterflies whenever i saw him. i had dreams about him. i started falling for him, hard. i guess i'd never noticed before how my best friend was so perfect and so...amazing...i never decided to tell him, though. i didn't want to ruin what he already had, and i was almost positive that he would have said no. i mean, cuddling and piggyback rides were close enough, yeah? no. it wasn't, though. it took me awhile to notice that i really, really needed him to be mine. not just my best friend, but my boyfriend. it's too bad that it never worked out. i was nineteen when i went over to his place, equipped with some flowers, opened the door and found him and some guy - a cute guy, mad props, cay - making out on the couch. luckily, they were so caught up in each other that they didn't really notice me with my mouth open and my flowers on the floor in the doorway. they might have noticed when the door slammed and there were some flowers lying astray in the doorway, but i was already gone by then. i knew he didn't like me back. this was caydance, my best friend. he didn't want to be anything more than my best friend and i had known it all along. i cried that minute. that hour. that day. maybe for a week or so. i started avoiding him blatantly - still am, quite honestly. he had that cute guy got really serious and i guess he forgot about persistently calling me to try and get me to start talking to him again. i didn't get a call from him for a really long time...and then we just not friends anymore. i still wasn't over it. i'm still not over it. i thought the show would be a good way to get past my annoying feelings, but again i was wrong. i seem to have made a good habit of being unlucky and wrong. he's here. he and that stupid, stupid boy are both here...i hate it. i want to go home right now, so bad. either that, or i want him. i know i can't spoil his new love thing for him, though. i can't do that to the person that i love...but, wait, does that sound twisted to you?
